CCPA Notice
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of California. It explains the personal information Miradero Cybersecurity (“Miradero,” “we,” “us”) collects through miraderocs.com and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”). Terms used here have the meanings given in the CCPA.
Personal information we collect
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

We do not collect biometric information, precise geolocation, or financial account information through the Site.
Why we collect it
We use personal information for the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy: to respond to inquiries, to provide and secure the Site, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law. We keep each category only as long as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal information
Miradero does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and has not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Because we do not sell or share, we do not offer a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out link. We still honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit its use.
Your California privacy rights
- Right to know: you can ask what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, why we collected it, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to, and you can ask for a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold.
- Right to delete: you can ask us to delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct: you can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, but you may still send an opt-out request or use GPC.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: not applicable, because we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what the CCPA permits.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or give you a different level of service because you exercised your rights.
How to submit a request
Email info@miraderocs.com with the subject line “CCPA Request.” Tell us which right you want to exercise and include your name and the email address you used to contact us.
Verification. To protect your information, we will verify your request by matching the details you provide with the information we hold. This may include confirming control of the email address you used with us. We will only use information you provide for verification to verify and respond to your request.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for signed written permission from you, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
Response timing. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, up to an additional 45 days, we will tell you why. Requests to know may cover the 12 months before the request, or longer where the CCPA requires.
California “Shine the Light”
California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask for information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
